JAKARTA, Indonesia March 13 (NNN-BERNAMA) -- Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (PMK) Puan Maharani recently led an inter-ministerial coordination meeting on preparations for the Asian Para Games 2018 at her office, The Jakarta Post reported.

The meeting primarily discussed progress on preparations, infrastructure and athletes.

"God willing, everything related to progress, facilities and infrastructure are on target," the minister said at a press conference after the meeting.

The infrastructure is being readied in conjunction with those for the Asian Games, while venues and accommodate still require some adjustment to fulfill the needs of disabled athletes.

The office of the coordinating minister is working with the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) to ensure that everything is running well, she said.

Puan also stated that efficiency, synchronisation and synergy would be maintained between the Asian Games and the succeeding event of the Para Asian Games.--NN-BERNAMA
