KING SALMAN CENTRE SENDS 220 TONNES OF MEDICATIONS TO YEMEN - MINISTER

RIYADH, Saudi Arabia, July 17 (NNN-SPA) - The King Salman Centre for Relief and Humanitarian Aid (KSCRHA), has sent 220 tonnes of medications, to Yemen's Saada Governorate, a Yemeni minister, said.

The drugs will then continue their journey to the provinces of Amran, Ma'rib and other Yemeni provinces, the Minister of Local Administration and Chairman of the Higher Committee on Relief in Yemen, Abdulraqib Saif Fatah, made the statement, on Sunday, on the sidelines of launching the third phase of the "Kuwait by your side" campaign.

For his part, Chairman of Kuwait's Higher Relief Committee, Abu Ismail Al-Qurashi, said, the Kuwaiti relief efforts would continue until Yemen gets over its hard conditions.

The "Kuwait by your side" campaign offers urgent relief to Yemen, covering education, food, water, health and shelter.-- NNN-SPA
