JORDAN-CHINA RELATION… Jordanian King Abdullah (left) met with Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at Zhongnanhai, Beijing, on Oct 31, 2007, to mark the 30th anniversary of the Jordanian-Chinese relations. At the meeting, both side discussed broad terms about warm China-Jordan ties and several unspecified regional and international issues. Abdullah urged China to play an active and stronger role to help achieve stability in the Middle East, saying that China's growing influence could speed up a resolution of the Israel-Palestinian conflict and other lingering regional tension.
