KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 10 (NNN-BERNAMA) — Brunei\u00a0became\u00a0the first export market for the 2020 Proton X70, the\u00a0upgraded version of Proton X70,\u00a0after it was launched in the country on Sept 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Like its predecessor, the 2020 Proton X70 will be made available in three variants — Standard, Executive and Premium X — and will also be sold with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty, Proton said in a statement Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Malaysian carmaker said in Brunei, the earlier X70 model ranks as one of the top three in its segment despite barely having completed a full year of sales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Exports will play an increasingly important role in growing our sales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
“With the combination of innovative features and comprehensive list of safety equipment, we believe the X70 will gain support from car buyers not only in Brunei, where it has already attracted a strong following, but also wherever it is sold around the world,\u201d said Roslan Abdullah, Proton Edar\u2019s chief executive officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
