{"id":90744,"date":"2020-09-04T18:07:35","date_gmt":"2020-09-04T10:07:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=90744"},"modified":"2020-09-04T18:17:55","modified_gmt":"2020-09-04T10:17:55","slug":"malaysia-sees-11-new-covid-19-cases-3-from-new-cluster","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=90744","title":{"rendered":"Malaysia sees 11 new COVID-19 cases, 3 from new cluster"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 4 (NNN-BERNAMA) &#8212; A total of 11 new COVID-19 positive cases were reported today, of which three were detected from a new cluster at\u00a0the Semenyih 2 Immigration Detention Depot, said Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He said the index case from this cluster is a detainee who was supposed to be deported home but tested positive when undergoing screening at a health clinic on Aug 27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The second and third cases of this&nbsp;cluster involved&nbsp;the depot&#8217;s immigration officers from Selangor and Negeri Sembilan&nbsp;who escorted the index case to the health clinic for screening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;They were among the four immigration officers who escorted the index case.
