{"id":86003,"date":"2020-08-03T12:58:15","date_gmt":"2020-08-03T04:58:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=86003"},"modified":"2020-08-03T13:11:20","modified_gmt":"2020-08-03T05:11:20","slug":"search-continues-for-missing-four-from-capsized-ferry-near-thailands-koh-samui","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=86003","title":{"rendered":"Search continues for missing four from capsized ferry near Thailand&#8217;s Koh Samui"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5>By Linda Khoo Hui Li<br><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>BANGKOK, Aug 3 (NNN-BERNAMA) &#8212;\u00a0The search and rescue (SAR) operation for four people missing from a\u00a0ferry that sank\u00a0near Thailand&#8217;s popular tourist island of Koh Samui on Saturday night\u00a0continued today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Raja 4 ferry was&nbsp;carrying 12 crew members and&nbsp;four drivers \u2013 three 10-wheel lorries and a pickup truck loaded with garbage&nbsp;\u2013 when it sank in the stormy sea after leaving Koh Samui\u2019s port about 10 pm (local time) on Saturday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nine people were rescued near the vessel while another two were rescued closer to an&nbsp;island nearby on Sunday.
