KUALA LUMPUR, April 17 (NNN) — The Prem Rawat Foundation\n(TPRF) is giving more than $150,000 in grants to provide life-saving care to\nvulnerable groups around the world who are suffering from the COVID-19\npandemic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

After extensive research, TPRF is providing initial grants\nof $50,000 each to three nonprofit organisations that are in a strong position\nto help people in need, namely to Doctors Without Borders \/ M\u00e9decins Sans\nFronti\u00e8res (MSF),  International Medical\nCorps (IMC) and Italy based Cesvi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MSF and IMCwill use the funds to care for patients and\nprovide crucial training and medical equipment to fragile communities across\nthe globe, a press release from TPRF made available to NNN recently said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cesvi, an independent Italian humanitarian organization founded\nin Bergamo,  will focus on assisting the\nelderly and handicapped who are suffering from the crisis in northern Italy. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thanking volunteers supporting the initiatives of TPRF, Linda\nPascotto, TPRF Board Chair, said: \u201cTogether, we are making a difference in the\nlives of people who need critical care.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n

She said the humanitarian aid has been made possible by the\ngenerosity of donors in over 50 countries who support TPRF\u2019s mission of\nadvancing dignity, peace and prosperity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to the humanitarian aid, TPRF Founder Prem Rawat\nis offering uplifting daily video messages to address the trying times caused\nby the pandemic. A renowned author and speaker, his new video series,\n\u201cLockdown,\u201d is available to watch for free in several languages at\npremrawat.com. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Since Prem Rawat founded TPRF in 2001, the nonprofit has\nawarded hundreds of grants to partner organisations in 40 countries, providing\nmillions of dollars for diverse humanitarian initiatives, from disaster relief,\nmedical care and water infrastructure to computer labs for students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    TPRF also helps people emerge from poverty through the Food for People program, and helps people discover personal peace through the Peace Education Program. Independent evaluators Guidestar and Charity Navigator give TPRF their highest rankings for transparency, fiscal responsibility, results and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
