SINGAPORE, April 8 (NNN-BERNAMA) —\u00a0Singapore\u2019s Ministry of Health (MOH) has confirmed an additional 106 cases of COVID-19 infection, bringing total cases in the republic to 1,481.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Among the linked cases, 39 cases were linked to clusters at foreign worker dormitories and 23 were linked to non-dormitory clusters, said the ministry in a statement Tuesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of the two dormitories which were gazetted as isolation areas, S11 Dormitory @ Punggol of Seletar North Link has a total of 98 confirmed cases while Westlite Toh Guan of Toh Guan Road East has 34 confirmed cases, respectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MOH said three cases were reported from the public healthcare sector involving two nurses each at Singapore General Hospital (SGH), and Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH) and a healthcare assistant at Hougang Polyclinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Updating on the condition of confirmed cases, MOH said 33 more cases of COVID-19 infection have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities making it 377 full recoveries in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Of the 627 confirmed cases who are still in hospital, most are stable or improving while 29 are in critical condition in the intensive care unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
MOH said 471 cases who are clinically well but still tested positive for COVID-19 are isolated and cared for at Concord International Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Gleneagles Hospital, Mount Alvernia Hospital and the Community Isolation Facility at D\u2019Resort NTUC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Six have passed away from complications due to COVID-19 infection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
