{"id":61485,"date":"2020-02-11T09:48:42","date_gmt":"2020-02-11T01:48:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=61485"},"modified":"2020-02-11T09:48:44","modified_gmt":"2020-02-11T01:48:44","slug":"israel-attacks-hamas-terror-targets-after-projectile-army","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=61485","title":{"rendered":"Israel attacks Hamas \u2018terror targets\u2019 after projectile: army"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bssnews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/222.jpg\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.bssnews.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/222.jpg\" alt=\"\"\/><\/a><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>JERUSALEM, Feb 11 (NNN-AGENCIES) &#8212; Israeli forces attacked Hamas positions from the air early Monday, the army said, after militants in the Palestinian enclave fired a projectile at the Jewish state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The \u201caircraft and fighter jets targeted a number of Hamas terror targets<br>in the southern Gaza Strip,\u201d a statement from the Israeli army said, noting a<br>Hamas \u201ctraining compound and military infrastructures\u201d were included in the attack.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were no reports from Gaza of casualties or damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Sunday night, a projectile was launched from Gaza at southern Israel,<br>triggering air raid sirens and sending thousands to bomb shelters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A spokeswoman for the regional council in Shaar Hanegev, just northeast of<br>Gaza, said the projectile apparently hit an open field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Palestinian attacks have increased since Jan 28 when US President<br>Donald Trump released his vision for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian<br>conflict \u2014 a plan firmly rejected by the Palestinian leadership in both the<br>West Bank and Gaza.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It would grant Israel a number of its long-held goals, including full<br>control of disputed Jerusalem and a green light to annex all settlements and<br>other parts of the West Bank.
