{"id":61139,"date":"2020-02-07T16:25:47","date_gmt":"2020-02-07T08:25:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=61139"},"modified":"2020-02-07T16:25:49","modified_gmt":"2020-02-07T08:25:49","slug":"us-5-killed-in-commuter-plane-crash-in-alaska","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=61139","title":{"rendered":"US: 5 killed in commuter plane crash in Alaska"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ANCHORAGE (Alaska, US), Feb 7 (NNN-AGENCIES) &#8212; Five people were killed in a small commuter plane crash in southwest Alaska on Thursday, Alaska State Troopers said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The pilot and four passengers on a Yute Air flight were killed, Troopers spokesman Tim DeSpain said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Names have not been released, and troopers were attempting to notify next of kin, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The commuter flight was traveling from the southwest Alaska hub community of Bethel to the village of Kipnuk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The flight was reported overdue Thursday afternoon and found crashed about 19 kilometers southwest of the community of Tuntutuliak after 1:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alaska Army National Guard launched a UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from Bethel to the crash scene, Lt. Col.
