{"id":56800,"date":"2019-12-30T11:54:28","date_gmt":"2019-12-30T03:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=56800"},"modified":"2019-12-30T11:57:14","modified_gmt":"2019-12-30T03:57:14","slug":"iran-to-hold-conference-on-peace-plan-for-strait-of-hormuz-in-jan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=56800","title":{"rendered":"Iran To Hold Conference On Peace Plan For Strait Of Hormuz In Jan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>TEHRAN, Dec 30 (NNN-IRNA) &#8211; Iran&#8217;s capital, Tehran, will host a conference next month, on its peace initiative for the Strait of Hormuz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference is scheduled for Jan 7-8, and will focus on regional cooperation plans, particularly on Iran&#8217;s initiative of Hormuz Peace Endeavour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior Iranian and regional political officials and pundits, are expected to attend the event, organised by the Foreign Ministry&#8217;s Institute for Political and International Studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, will address the opening ceremony of the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the Hormuz peace plan, participants will review the latest developments in the Gulf.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Nov, Iran said, it had forwarded the text of the peace plan for the Strait of Hormuz to regional states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani, disclosed the initiative at the meeting of the 74th UN General Assembly.
