{"id":54498,"date":"2019-12-13T11:25:55","date_gmt":"2019-12-13T03:25:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=54498"},"modified":"2019-12-13T11:25:56","modified_gmt":"2019-12-13T03:25:56","slug":"11-hashd-shaabi-members-killed-in-suicide-attack-in-central-iraq","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=54498","title":{"rendered":"11 Hashd Shaabi members killed in suicide attack in central Iraq"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>SAMARRA (Iraq), Dec 13 (NNN-AGENCIES) &#8212; Eleven Iraqi fighters were killed north of Baghdad on Thursday when two suicide bombers attacked a base of Saraya al-Salam, an armed group led by Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr, the Iraqi army said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The attack, which also wounded three fighters, was carried out by a suicide terrorist, the army said, using its standard term for Daesh fighters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Later, a second attacker blew up a car packed with explosives at the same site, killing another four fighters, the media office of Iraqi Joint Operations Command said in a statement. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement gave no further details but said that more information was to be released later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Saraya al-Salam, or Peace Companies, headed by the Shia cleric Moqtada al-Sadr.
