{"id":50034,"date":"2019-11-12T12:36:50","date_gmt":"2019-11-12T04:36:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=50034"},"modified":"2019-11-12T12:38:17","modified_gmt":"2019-11-12T04:38:17","slug":"bangkok-residents-use-more-natural-krathongs-governor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=50034","title":{"rendered":"Bangkok Residents Use More Natural Krathongs: Governor"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>BANGKOK, Nov 12 (NNN-TNA) &#8211; Bangkok Governor, Pol Gen, Asawin Kwanmuang, expressed delight on Tuesday (today), that the majority of Bangkokians had heeded calls to use krathongs made of natural, biodegradable materials, at last night\u2019s celebration of the Loy Krathong festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He was speaking after reviewing the results of krathong collection in the Bangkok area, undertaken by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA)\u2019s Environment Department, the Irrigation Department and district offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year the festival was held under the Rama VIII Bridge in Bang Phlat district, and Klong Ong Ang in Phra Nakhon district.
