{"id":46307,"date":"2019-10-14T15:21:55","date_gmt":"2019-10-14T07:21:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=46307"},"modified":"2019-10-14T15:30:19","modified_gmt":"2019-10-14T07:30:19","slug":"5-8-magnitude-earthquake-hits-parts-of-pakistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=46307","title":{"rendered":"5.8-Magnitude Earthquake Hits Parts Of Pakistan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>ISLAMABAD, Oct 14 (NNN-APP) &#8211; A 5.8-magnitude earthquake rocked several cities in Pakistan&#8217;s northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province and northern areas, on Monday morning, the country&#8217;s National Seismic Monitoring Centre (NSMC) said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the centre, the epicentre of the quake was located in the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan, with a depth of 157 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A local official told media that the earthquake was felt in parts of KP, including Peshawar, Malakand, Mardan, Charsadda, Shangla, Kohistan, Battagram, Torghar, Swat and other northern areas of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No loss of life or property has been immediately reported, but the quake created panic among the people, who scrambled out of buildings and compounds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today&#8217;s earthquake is the second quake above 5.0 magnitude hitting Pakistan within a week.
