{"id":45168,"date":"2019-10-06T12:17:48","date_gmt":"2019-10-06T04:17:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=45168"},"modified":"2019-10-06T12:31:17","modified_gmt":"2019-10-06T04:31:17","slug":"jordan-says-talks-with-imf-dispute-free","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=45168","title":{"rendered":"Jordan Says Talks With IMF Dispute Free"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>AMMAN, Oct 6 (NNN-PETRA) &#8211; Jordan said, it had no dispute with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), about the financial reform programme implemented in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The IMF mission, which concluded a visit to Jordan last week, held meetings with various ministries to discuss strategies and plans, that are part of the 700-million-U.S.-dollar Extended Fund Facility (EFF), signed between the two sides, the Finance Ministry said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The visit included meetings and discussions with the new IMF mission chief to Jordan, on financial and economic indicators and procedures related to the reform programme, said the statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Talks also covered procedures aiming at boosting economic growth and the increasing public debt and efforts to curb it, the ministry added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ministry said, the third review of the programme is scheduled to take place in Nov.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Aug, 2016, the IMF Executive Board approved a three-year extended arrangement with Jordan, under the EFF, to support Jordan&#8217;s economic and financial reform programme.&#8211; NNN-PETRA  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AMMAN, Oct 6 (NNN-PETRA) &#8211; Jordan said, it had no dispute with the International Monetary Fund (IMF), about the financial reform programme implemented in the country.
