{"id":43039,"date":"2019-09-19T15:46:44","date_gmt":"2019-09-19T07:46:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=43039"},"modified":"2019-09-19T15:46:46","modified_gmt":"2019-09-19T07:46:46","slug":"finnish-russian-co-zyfra-to-invest-in-malaysias-4-0-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=43039","title":{"rendered":"Finnish-Russian co, Zyfra to invest in Malaysia&#8217;s 4.0 industry"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h5>By Siti Noor Afera Abu<br><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19\u00a0(NNN-BERNAMA) &#8212;\u00a0Finnish-Russian technology company, ZYFRA is looking to invest RM2.1 million\u00a0to provide solutions to\u00a0local companies embarking in the 4.0 industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Managing director\u00a0Pavel Rastopshin said the fourth industrial or 4.0 technologies have the potential to become one of the pillars in Russia-Malaysia bilateral relationships as both countries possessed\u00a0extensive industrial complex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are optimistic about the fact that this year Malaysia for the first time was&nbsp;represented at the 5th Eastern Economic Forum 2019 in Vladivostok&nbsp;and both countries are demonstrating their willingness to support the technological partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cA shift to digital manufacturing helps to make the production and management processes more transparent, grow efficiency and meet sustainability goals,\u201d he told Bernama.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a&nbsp;joint business study conducted by Microsoft and IDC Asia\/Pacific, digital transformation is expected to contribute US$10 billion to Malaysia\u2019s gross domestic product (GDP) by 2021, with&nbsp;a projection of 0.6 per cent growth per annum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Malaysian government has put a plan to achieve&nbsp;RM33 billion&nbsp;investment in the&nbsp;Internet of Things (IoT) sector, including industrial IoT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Russian-based company said Pavel has&nbsp;helped over 270 enterprises shift from industry 2.0 to industry 3.0 before&nbsp;making the leap to Industry 4.0 by&nbsp;implementing various solutions based on machine learning&nbsp;and artificial intelligence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, its chief executive officer Igor Bogachev said&nbsp;ZYFRA&nbsp;is looking for&nbsp;technical teams&nbsp;to support its installation while strengthening its footprint in this country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We will start with five&nbsp;employees and we will open more position in this country,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the oil and gas (O&amp;G)&nbsp;sector, ZYFRA according to him, has put in&nbsp;bids on three tenders from&nbsp;O&amp;G companies, offering its electrical submersible pump (ESP) software solution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The O&amp;G companies need&nbsp;digital solutions for their&nbsp;upstream and downstream operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur&nbsp;ESP software&nbsp;helps to reach 10 to 20 per cent&nbsp;efficiency boost for the specific machine&nbsp;in a project and we have solutions for both stages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFor example, ZYFRA&#8217;s geomechanics solution, which operates for exploration before drilling, while&nbsp;machine monitoring for refineries,&#8221; added Igor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ESP\u00a0software unit has proved to be highly effective, boosting production by 1.5 per cent\u00a0and leading additional profits of US$2 million, besides providing solutions for real-time drilling optimisation improve in-productive layer drilling by a whopping 40 per cent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;NNN-BERNAMA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Siti Noor Afera Abu KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 19\u00a0(NNN-BERNAMA) &#8212;\u00a0Finnish-Russian technology company, ZYFRA is looking to invest RM2.1 million\u00a0to provide solutions to\u00a0local companies embarking in the 4.0 industry.
