{"id":42574,"date":"2019-09-16T11:59:13","date_gmt":"2019-09-16T03:59:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=42574"},"modified":"2019-09-16T12:06:28","modified_gmt":"2019-09-16T04:06:28","slug":"air-india-to-provide-low-fat-meals-to-its-crew","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=42574","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Air India&#8221; To Provide Low-Fat Meals To Its Crew"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NEW DELHI, Sept 16 (NNN-PTI) &#8211; India&#8217;s official carrier, &#8220;Air India,&#8221; decided to launch special low-fat meals for its crew members, with effect from midnight Sunday, in an attempt to make them more health conscious.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The initiative to revise the in-flight food menu for the crew was taken, after considering the &#8220;health factor&#8221; of the crew members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The low-fat meal for the crew will be devised on day-wise basis, in order to provide light and healthy meals for the staff members along with a homely feeling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;India Today&#8221; quoted a top &#8220;Air India&#8221; official as saying that, new changes in the in-flight menu for crew members would come into effect from Sept 15 midnight, on all domestic and international flights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For many years &#8220;Air India&#8221; has hit headlines for incurring huge losses. In 2018-19 the airline incurred losses of around 7,600 crore Indian Rupees (approximately one billion U.S. dollars).
