Big money will be made. Iran can start the reconstruction process,&#8221; he said on his Truth Social platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;We\u2019ll be loading up with supplies of all kinds, and just &#8216;hangin\u2019 around&#8217; in order to make sure that everything goes well,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before announcing Tuesday that he agreed to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks, Trump gave Iran until 8 pm Eastern Time (0000GMT Wednesday) to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and reach an agreement or face attacks on its energy infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He framed the moment as a potential \u201cGolden Age of the Middle East\u201d and signaled ongoing US engagement to secure the vital maritime route.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regional tensions have escalated since the US and Israel launched a joint offensive against Iran on Feb&nbsp;28, killing more than 1,400 people to date, including then-Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel as well as Jordan, Iraq and Gulf countries hosting US military assets.
