{"id":320867,"date":"2025-12-29T08:03:58","date_gmt":"2025-12-29T00:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=320867"},"modified":"2025-12-29T08:10:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-29T00:10:08","slug":"russia-recognises-taiwan-as-integral-part-of-china-fm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=320867","title":{"rendered":"Russia Recognises Taiwan As Integral Part Of China: FM"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>MOSCOW, Dec 29 (NNN-TASS) &#8211; Taiwan is an integral part of China, and Russia opposes Taiwan&#8217;s independence in any form, Russian Foreign Minister, Sergei Lavrov, said, yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In an interview, Lavrov said that, Russia&#8217;s principled position on the Taiwan question is well known and unchanged. &#8220;Russia recognises Taiwan as an integral part of China and stands against the island&#8217;s independence in any form.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As the top Russian diplomat noted, Russia consistently regards the Taiwan question as an internal affair of China, and recognises China&#8217;s legitimate basis for safeguarding its sovereignty and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lavrov also said in the interview that, Japan&#8217;s course towards militarisation could negatively affect stability in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Recently, the Japanese leadership has been seeking to accelerate the country&#8217;s militarisation.
