{"id":263475,"date":"2024-05-12T07:56:35","date_gmt":"2024-05-11T23:56:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=263475"},"modified":"2024-05-12T08:00:22","modified_gmt":"2024-05-12T00:00:22","slug":"10-killed-in-bus-accident-in-west-java","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=263475","title":{"rendered":"10 Killed In Bus Accident In West Java"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>JAKARTA, May 12 (NNN-ANTARA) &#8211; Ten people were killed and more than 10 others wounded, in a bus accident in Subang regency of Indonesia&#8217;s West Java province yesterday, a rescuer said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accident occurred at 18:45 Jakarta time, at Kampung Palasari street, said the province&#8217;s head of search and rescue office, Hery Marantika, whose personnel had been involved in evacuating the victims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;I got reports that 10 people were killed and more than 10 others were wounded,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those with serious injuries had been rushed to Subang General Hospital for treatment, while those with minor injuries had been sent to nearby health clinics, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The bus was carrying over 40 people, most of whom were students, returning from visiting a recreational destination, he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Senior police officer, Asep Setia Permana said, the bus driver could not control the vehicle after a brake failure.
