{"id":24324,"date":"2019-05-10T18:40:23","date_gmt":"2019-05-10T10:40:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=24324"},"modified":"2019-05-10T18:40:25","modified_gmt":"2019-05-10T10:40:25","slug":"cimb-announces-reduction-in-rates","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=24324","title":{"rendered":"CIMB Announces Reduction In Rates"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>KUALA LUMPUR, May 10 (Bernama) &#8212;\u00a0<\/strong>In response to Bank Negara Malaysia&#8217;s (BNM) Overnight Policy Rate (OPR) decrease of 25 basis points from 3.25% to 3.00% on 7 May 2019, CIMB Bank Berhad (\u201cCIMB Bank\u201d) and CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad (\u201cCIMB Islamic\u201d) will effect a corresponding 25-basis points reduction in its Base Rate and Fixed Deposit \/ Fixed Return Income Account-i Board Rates. Similarly, loans and financing based on Base Lending Rate (BLR) and Base Financing Rate (BFR) respectively will be reduced by 0.25%. The 0.25% reduction across the board is to help achieve the corresponding effect of monetary policy transmission intent by BNM&#8217;s Monetary Policy Committee.
