{"id":240374,"date":"2023-10-12T07:26:35","date_gmt":"2023-10-11T23:26:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=240374"},"modified":"2023-10-12T07:29:57","modified_gmt":"2023-10-11T23:29:57","slug":"myanmars-foreign-trade-totalled-over-15-billion-usd-in-apr-sept","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=240374","title":{"rendered":"Myanmar&#8217;s Foreign Trade Totalled Over 15 Billion USD In Apr-Sept"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>YANGON, Oct 12 (NNN-MNA) &#8211; Myanmar&#8217;s foreign trade exceeded 15.98 billion U.S. dollars in value, in the first six months of the 2023-24 fiscal year, through next March, according to figures released by the Ministry of Commerce, yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The figure was compared to over 16.98 billion dollars registered a year earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>From Apr 1 to Sept 29 this year, the country earned over 7.58 billion dollars from exports, while its imports totalled over 8.4 billion dollars, the ministry&#8217;s figures showed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the period, manufactured goods topped the export list with the most value, earning over 4.83 billion dollars, followed by agricultural products, with a value of 1.57 billion dollars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The country&#8217;s maritime trade totalled over 11.24 billion dollars, while its border trade amounted to 4.73 billion dollars in the cited period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Myanmar does most of its foreign trade through sea routes, as it has a long coastline.
