LIMA, Aug 3 (NNN-ANDINA) — Pres Dina Boluarte<\/a>\u00a0re-iterated that Peru continues to move forward supported by unity, dialogue, peace, and reconciliation, thanks to the hope and efforts all Peruvians undertake on a daily basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the inspection of commissioning tests on Lima Metro Line 2<\/a>, she specified that only with peace, unity, and loving our homeland proudly,\u00a0“we can make our beloved country greater.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“This is the best proof that, despite anything, Peru is advancing; Peru has not stopped, Peru continues to move forward with unity, dialogue, peace, reconciliation, and above all, with the effort, faith, and hope that all Peruvians should exercise,”\u00a0she expressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Boluarte said that\u00a0“<\/em>without hatred, grudges, and envy, our country will be able to continue advancing and growing”\u00a0for the benefit of children, adolescents, and senior citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding Lima Metro Line 2, the top official indicated that \u2014once the work is completed\u2014 it will unite 10 districts of the capital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She added that the\u00a0trial period will start at the end of this year, with a free-of-charge service available for three months.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, the Head of State said that, following completion,\u00a0Lima Metro Line 2 will carry over one million people a day.\u00a0Progress currently stands at 56%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“As a Peruvian President, citizen, and woman, I express my satisfaction because\u00a0the first stage of the automated high-speed train has become a reality, which will greatly benefit the safe transit of our citizens,<\/strong>“\u00a0<\/em>she stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, Boluarte specified that\u00a0“<\/em>these are the major (public) works that Peru needs to boost growth and development,”\u00a0<\/em>which generate jobs and improve the population’s quality of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top official added that large road, port, and airport infrastructure works are underway nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
