{"id":22218,"date":"2019-04-27T08:21:25","date_gmt":"2019-04-27T00:21:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=22218"},"modified":"2019-04-27T08:21:27","modified_gmt":"2019-04-27T00:21:27","slug":"vietnamese-govt-cracks-down-on-imports-of-used-machinery","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=22218","title":{"rendered":"Vietnamese gov&#8217;t cracks down on imports of used machinery"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p> HANOI, April 27 (NNN-Bernama) &#8212; Vietnam has banned imports of used machinery, equipment and production line technology aged more than 10-years-old, Vietnam News Agency reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The age limitation was regulated in a new Governmental decision, signed by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung and will take effect from June 15, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ban aims to stop outdated, poor quality, polluting and unsafe used machinery, equipment and production line technology being used in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Only used machinery, equipment and production line technology directly serving production in Vietnam will be imported to the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, they must be manufactured in accordance with a National Technical Regulation (QCVN) or Vietnam\u2019s Standard (TCVN) or Standards of G7 countries and the Republic of Korea with regard to safety, energy saving and environmental protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The imported used production line technology must have capacity of at least 85 per cent of their designed capacity and energy.
