DALLAS, April 18 (Bernama-BUSINESS WIRE)<\/strong>\u00a0—<\/strong>\u00a0Mary Kay Inc., a decades-long corporate advocate of women\u2019s education and entrepreneurship, announced the top three winners of its third annual\u00a0World Series of Innovation<\/a>\u00a0(WSI) challenge in partnership with\u00a0Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship<\/a>\u00a0(NFTE). This global competition encourages youth ages 13-24 to utilize critical thinking skills to help solve the world\u2019s greatest challenges on a local, domestic, or international scale, as part of the advancement of the\u00a0UN Sustainable Development Goals<\/a>\u00a0(SDGs).

Mary Kay\u2019s WSI challenge kicked off September 15 in conjunction with\u00a0World Clean Up Day<\/a>\u00a0and encouraged young entrepreneurs to submit innovative solutions to address\u00a0UN SDG 14: Life Below Water<\/a>. Specifically, students were asked to design a solution to further the conservation and\/or protection of the world\u2019s marine ecosystems and coastal communities.
