LONDON, Nov 17 (NNN-ANDINA) — Lonely Planet \u2014the guide specializing in international travel\u2014 revealed its\u00a0‘Best in Travel’ list featuring the top destinations around the world for 2023; the Peruvian capital was included among the best places to travel and eat<\/a>, Peru’s Exports and Tourism Promotion Board (PromPeru) said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0list by Lonely Planet<\/a>\u00a0\u2014a global authority in the tourism sector\u2014 recommends visiting the South American country and enjoying the gastronomic offer of Lima by stressing that it is\u00a0“a gastronomical delight centuries in the making.”<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likewise, it mentioned that our capital city is famous for\u00a0cebiche<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0pisco cocktails<\/a>, but it also provides travelers with the opportunity to enjoy fish and shellfish, as well as to get to know Peruvian food in depth and much more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The selection of the\u00a0best destinations falls into five categories: eat, unwind, connect, journey, and learn<\/a>. Each selection seeks to underscore destinations and help international travelers choose their next trip abroad \u2014based on their preferences and interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It must be noted that every year Best in Travel lists begin with nominations by a broad community of Lonely Planet’s writers, bloggers, and publishing partners globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thus, a panel of travel experts reduces the nominations to merely 30 destinations.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
