{"id":191224,"date":"2022-09-14T12:46:50","date_gmt":"2022-09-14T04:46:50","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=191224"},"modified":"2022-09-14T12:46:51","modified_gmt":"2022-09-14T04:46:51","slug":"malaysia-natural-rubber-production-up-21-2-pct-in-july","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=191224","title":{"rendered":"Malaysia natural rubber production up 21.2 pct in July"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (NNN-Bernama) &#8212; Malaysia\u2019s natural rubber (NR) production increased by 21.2 per cent month-on-month (m-o-m)\u00a0in July 2022, said the\u00a0Department\u00a0of\u00a0Statistics\u00a0Malaysia (DoSM).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Year-on-year comparison showed that the production of NR decreased by 21.8 per cent, it said in a statement today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cProduction of NR in July 2022 for Malaysia was mainly contributed by smallholders&#8217; sector with 88.5 per cent as compared to estates sector with 11.5 per cent,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Total stocks of NR decreased by 20.1 per cent m-o-m to 224,591 tonnes in July with rubber processors factory contributing 91.8 per cent of the stocks followed by rubber consumers factory (8.2 per cent) and rubber estates (0.1 per cent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Exports of Malaysia\u2019s NR fell 8.4 per cent m-o-m to 53,771 tonnes in July 2022, with China remaining the main destination accounting for 48.1 per cent of the total shipment, followed by Germany (6.4 per cent), the United States (4.2 per cent), Finland (3.8 per cent) and Pakistan (3.0 per cent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAnalysis of the average monthly prices showed that latex concentrated recorded a decrease of 15.9 per cent (m-o-m)&nbsp;to 532.28 sen per kg in July 2022, while scrap rubber declined by 2.8 per cent (m-o-m) to 566.13 sen per kg,\u201d it added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212; NNN-BERNAMA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 14 (NNN-Bernama) &#8212; Malaysia\u2019s natural rubber (NR) production increased by 21.2 per cent month-on-month (m-o-m)\u00a0in July 2022, said the\u00a0Department\u00a0of\u00a0Statistics\u00a0Malaysia (DoSM).
