{"id":176032,"date":"2022-05-18T08:44:15","date_gmt":"2022-05-18T00:44:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=176032"},"modified":"2022-05-18T08:48:20","modified_gmt":"2022-05-18T00:48:20","slug":"almost-13-2-million-u-s-children-infected-with-covid-19","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=176032","title":{"rendered":"Almost 13.2 Million U.S. Children Infected With COVID-19"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>LOS ANGELES, May 18 (NNN-AGENCIES) &#8211; Almost 13.2 million children in the United States have tested positive for COVID-19, since the onset of the pandemic, according to the latest report by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Children&#8217;s Hospital Association.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the week ending May 12, more than 93,000 additional child COVID-19 cases were reported, an increase of about 76 percent from two weeks ago, according to the report. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over 246,000 child COVID-19 cases have been added in the past four weeks.
