{"id":172395,"date":"2022-04-17T11:20:48","date_gmt":"2022-04-17T03:20:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=172395"},"modified":"2022-04-17T11:20:48","modified_gmt":"2022-04-17T03:20:48","slug":"aviation-turbine-fuel-hiked-to-record-high-in-india","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=172395","title":{"rendered":"Aviation Turbine Fuel Hiked To Record High In India"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>NEW DELHI, Apr 17 (NNN-PTI) &#8211; The price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF) or jet fuel in India, was hiked by a marginal 0.2 percent to an all-time high yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to a price notification of state-owned fuel retailers, the ATF price rose by 277.5 Indian rupees (3.64 U.S. dollars) per kilolitre to 113,202.33 in the Indian capital New Delhi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Saturday&#8217;s ATF price hike marked the eighth straight increase this year, reflecting a global energy price surge. Earlier, the ATF price saw the steepest ever hike of 18.3 percent on Mar 16 and a two percent increase on Apr 1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At present the ATF price in Mumbai stands at 111,981.99 Indian rupees per kilolitre, while it is 117,753.60 Indian rupees in Kolkata, and 116,933.49 Indian rupees in Chennai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Officials said, jet fuel prices are revised on the first and 16th day of every month. However, petrol and diesel rates are revised on a daily basis as per rates in the international market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The petrol and diesel prices have remained unchanged for 10 days in country, after witnessing a series of hikes since Mar 22.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>India imports over 80 percent of its oil from other countries.
