Afghanistan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KABUL, Nov 20 (NNN-ANA) &#8211; Two kidnapped victims have allegedly been killed, in separate abduction incidents, in Afghanistan&#8217;s northern Balkh province, multiple sources reported yesterday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Thursday, physician, Nader Alemi, a physiographist and neurologist, who was abducted nearly two months ago, in Nawabad area of Mazar-i-Sharif,, capital of Balkh, lost his life in his kidnappers&#8217; clutch, Khaama Press, a local online news agency, reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The well-known physician has long been working for the Balkh provincial hospital, the report said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On Monday, chancellor Mohammad Zarif Anwari, head of Mawlana Private University, was found dead near his house, in Mazar-i-Sharif, after being kidnapped over the weekend in Balkh, according to local sources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The reports came days after Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesman for the Taliban&#8217;s caretaker government, said that, the level of kidnapping has recently declined in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than 80 kidnappers have been arrested and 12 victims freed, since the Taliban&#8217;s takeover in mid-Aug, according to Mujahid.&#8211; NNN-ANA  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL, Nov 20 (NNN-ANA) &#8211; Two kidnapped victims have allegedly been killed, in separate abduction incidents, in Afghanistan&#8217;s northern Balkh province, multiple sources reported yesterday.
