{"id":103329,"date":"2020-11-26T16:02:42","date_gmt":"2020-11-26T08:02:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=103329"},"modified":"2020-11-26T16:02:44","modified_gmt":"2020-11-26T08:02:44","slug":"taiwan-expo-2020-online-utilises-360-degree-3d-virtual-reality","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/namnewsnetwork.org\/?p=103329","title":{"rendered":"Taiwan Expo 2020 Online Utilises 360-Degree 3D Virtual Reality"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) &#8212; The three-day Taiwan Expo 2020, which is held online since Wednesday, utilises the latest in 360-degree 3D virtual reality to recreate the exhibition hall for a truly immersive virtual experience, allowing visitors to participate in the Taiwan-Malaysia economic and trade relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organised by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), the expo showcases products from 200 exhibitors in 13 themed pavilions across seven major categories, including Taiwanese goods, lifestyles, healthcare and beauty, gadgets and green tech, Industry 4.0, Taiwan tourism, and Halal Taiwan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a statement, TAITRA chairman James CF Huang said Taiwan and Malaysia have always had a close relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAlthough the global pandemic has made physical exchange difficult, with the help of technology and digitalization, the friendship and cooperation between the two countries continues to thrive &#8212; no better an example than Taiwan Expo in Malaysia 2.0,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia representative Anne Huang said Taiwan and Malaysia\u2019s economy and trade are complementary to each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cTaiwan is Malaysia\u2019s sixth-largest trading partner, while Malaysia is Taiwan\u2019s seventh-largest trading partner, reaching bilateral trade of nearly US$20 billion in 2019,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Anne Huang believes that Taiwan Expo can create greater economic benefits for Taiwan-Malaysia economic and trade exchanges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year more than 100 online booths and products are displayed in 3D virtual reality, and Malaysian visitors need only visit the official website (https:\/\/taiwanexpo.online\/en\/) to enter the virtual lobby and then proceed to the desired product area according to their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>TAITRA said professional purchasers, who are looking to negotiate with manufacturers, need only click on the one-click \u2018Chat Now\u2019 function to enter a video chat with the manufacturer representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In response to the call by the Malaysian government to accelerate the move towards green industries, Taiwan Expo is showcasing green tech, while the Taiwan Excellence Pavilion is presenting high-quality integrated medical treatment technologies, it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe COVID-19 pandemic has shaped society in profound ways as we embrace a \u2018zero-touch\u2019 contactless way of life made possible through ICT integration and various smart kitchen and bath hardware products from Taiwan,\u201d it said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For more information, contact the Taiwan Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur at +60 (3) 2031-2388 or email to&nbsp;kl@taitra.org.tw<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8212; BERNAMA<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 26 (Bernama) &#8212; The three-day Taiwan Expo 2020, which is held online since Wednesday, utilises the latest in 360-degree 3D virtual reality to recreate the exhibition hall for a truly immersive virtual experience, allowing visitors to participate in the Taiwan-Malaysia economic and trade relations.
