KABUL, Nov 1 (NNN-AGENCIES) – Afghanistan, yesterday, recorded 91 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, in the past 24 hours, bringing its total tally to 41,425, the health ministry said.
“Over the past 24 hours, we have conducted 210 COVID-19 tests, 91 were positive in eight provinces, bringing to 41,425 the total number of patients in the country,” Masooma Jafari, the ministry’s deputy spokesperson, said.
Three patients were newly reported to have died from the COVID-19 pandemic, taking the death toll to 1,536, she added.
Laboratories across Afghanistan have completed 122,392 tests, since the outbreak of the pandemic in Feb, Jafari said.– NNN-AGENCIES
