Indonesia’s COVID-19 cases surpass 400,000

JAKARTA, Oct 28 (NNN-BERNAMA) — Indonesia’s COVID-19 cases surpassed the 400,000 mark after registering 4,029 new infections in the last 24 hours.

Based on data posted on the official twitter page of Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency @BNPB_Indonesia today, another 169,833 patients are still being monitored for the viral infection.

Between noon yesterday and noon today, 100 more fatalities were recorded, taking the cumulative death toll to 13,612.

The province of Jakarta still recorded the highest number of positive cases in the republic at 103,522  with the addition of 844 new cases, while East Java province recorded the highest number of COVID-19 deaths at 3,724.
