Four killed, One Missing In Car Accident In Myanmar’s Eastern State

YANGON, Oct 19 (NNN-MNA) – Four people were killed and one is still missing, in a car crash in Myanmar’s Shan State, state-run media reported today.

The accident took place near Naunghin village, of Muse District, at 9.00 a.m. local time yesterday.

A car with seven people on board fell into the Shweli river, as the driver lost control of the car. The driver and two women managed to escape from the sinking vehicle, but one died at hospital.

Meanwhile, another three women and one child were assumed to be trapped in the vehicle.

The bodies of three women were found at 1.00 p.m. local time yesterday and one child was still missing.

The search operation is still ongoing.– NNN-MNA
