BEIRUT, Oct 13 (NNN-NNA) – Lebanon’s number of COVID-19 infections increased on Monday by 1,056 to 54,624, while death toll went up by seven to 466, the Health Ministry reported.
Syndicate of Private Hospitals President, Suleiman Haroun, warned on Monday that, Lebanon will witness two disastrous weeks, as all hospitals’ beds have become full and the equipment of new COVID-19 departments in hospitals, costs hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Lebanon has been fighting against COVID-19 since Feb 21.
The country has received several donations from different countries, for the fight against COVID-19, including China, which offered on Sept 9, around 10,000 N95 masks, 100,000 medical masks, 100,000 gloves and 6,000 PCR rapid tests.– NNN-NNA
