JAKARTA, Oct 12 (NNN-ANTARA) – COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 4,497 within one day, to 333,449, with the death toll adding by 79 to 11,844, the Health Ministry said yesterday.
According to the ministry, 3,546 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 255,027.
The virus has spread to all the country’s 34 provinces.
Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,389 new cases, West Sumatra 350, Central Java 318, Riau 310 and East Java 269.
No more new positive cases were found in North Maluku province.– NNN-ANTARA
