YANGON, Oct 10 (NNN-MNA) – Myanmar reported 1,461 new infection cases of COVID-19, and 31 more deaths on Friday, according to a daily release from the Health and Sports Ministry.
The number of infection cases increased to 23,906, and the death toll reached 566 as of Friday, the ministry’s release said.
A total of 372 patients were allowed to be discharged from hospitals on Friday, and 6,738 patients have been discharged from hospitals, so far.
A total of 382,840 samples have been tested for COVID-19, since the first two cases were confirmed in Myanmar on Mar 23, this year.– NNN-MNA
