BANGKOK, Sept 21 (NNN-TNA) – A major job expo will be held later this month, to provide hundreds of thousands of jobs for Thai job-seekers, confirmed Labour Minister, Suchart Chomklin, yesterday.
The Ministry of Labour will hold the Job Expo Thailand 2020, at BITEC centre in Bang Na area of the Thai capital, from Sept 26-28, Suchart said.
At the job expo, 410,415 jobs will be provided, by various government agencies, 106,312 jobs will be offered by the Department of Employment and 112,242 jobs will be available in foreign countries, while some 66,880 part-time jobs will be offered in Thailand, according to the minister.
An estimated 260,000 new graduates and other job-seekers are expected to attend the job expo, and apply for jobs, including some 44,150 jobs previously provided for migrant workers, he said.– NNN-TNA
