KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 18 (NNN-BERNAMA) — Employment online portals JobsMalaysia and MyfutureJobs will be merged to facilitate public in applying for jobs, said Human Resources Minister Datuk Seri M.Saravanan.
He said the merger was in line with the single-window system approach to connect employers and job seekers, as well as the ministry and the Social Security Organisation (Socso).
“When (individuals or employers) apply with Socso or register with Socso, for example the Hiring Incentive, Wage Subsidy and Employment Retention programmes, tehy automatically synchronise with Myfuturejobs.
“As such, there is no need to apply for aid and employment separately… indirectly, it helps the unemployed to look for jobs easier,” he said during an interview on Bernama Radio talk show Jendela Fikir here today.
He urged those who are still unemployed, to register at MyFutureJobs portal (www.myfuturejobs.gov.my), (and) participate in the ministry’s PenajaKerjaya carnival, while job seekers who need assistance to go to the Labor and SOCSO offices nationwide.
