KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 1 (Bernama) — FastJobs Malaysia (“FastJobs”), award-winning tech-driven job platform, partners with FWD Takaful Berhad (“FWD Takaful”) to provide low-cost takaful coverage to FastJobs’ gig jobseekers for as low as RM31 per month.
This collaboration between the tech-driven job platform and the takaful operator is first-of-its-kind in Malaysia and is in line with the Government’s National Economic Recovery Plan or PENJANA that aims to promote the country’s gig economy and provide a social safety net for gig workers who are mostly independent contractors, online platform workers, contract firm workers, on-call workers, and temporary workers.
