Scaffolding Collapse Kills Two, Injures Six In Southern Vietnam

HO CHI MINH CITY, Aug 29 (NNN-VNA) – Two workers were killed and six others injured, after a scaffolding collapsed at a construction site, in Vietnam’s southern Long An province, yesterday.

The workers were doing construction work, at a civil housing project in My Hanh Nam commune, Duc Hoa district, when part of the scaffolding collapsed, according to the report.

Many construction materials and scaffolding systems fell on the workers, killing two on the spot and leaving six others injured.

Authorities have taken the victims to hospitals for treatment.

An investigation into the cause of the incident is underway, according to the report.– NNN-VNA
