BEIRUT, Aug 20 (NNN-NNA) – Fifteen people were injured yesterday, in an accident between a passenger bus and a vehicle in West Bekaa, around 65 km away from the capital, Beirut, Elnashra news website reported.
The injured people, include 10 military members, who were all transferred to a local hospital for treatment.
Lebanese International Road Safety Academy, previously said that, road accidents have increased because the government failed to adopt a national road safety strategy.
The source also noted that, other reasons for the increased car accidents are a lack of national capabilities and budget for road safety.– NNN-NNA
