BANGKOK, Aug 12 (NNN-TNA) – An elephant stomped a man to death, while he was collecting vegetables near his community, in southern Thailand.
The man was trampled to death yesterday, by a domesticated elephant, near a canal, despite the elephant being tied to a tree in Nop Phi Tham district, in Nakhon Si Thammarat, south Thailand.
Police, medical staff and rescue workers called to the scene said, the 61-year-old man was found in dense grass alongside the canal.
Medical staff said, the victim suffered multiple broken bones.
Police said, they will find the owner of the elephant, who will face legal action.– NNN-TNA
