Indian, Pakistani Troops Exchange Fire On Kashmir LoC

SRINAGAR, Indian-controlled Kashmir, July 29 (NNN-UNI) – Troops of India and Pakistan, on Tuesday (yesterday), exchanged fire and targeted each other’s positions, on the Line of Control (LoC), dividing Kashmir, officials said.

The two sides exchanged fire on LoC in Degwar and Qasba sectors, of frontier Poonch district, about 180 km southwest of Srinagar city, the summer capital of Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Reports said, the exchange of fire between the two sides went on for several hours, with no reports of any damage to Indian or Pakistani sides.

LoC is a de facto border that divides Kashmir into Indian and Pakistani-controlled parts.– NNN-UNI
