BEIRUT, July 23 (NNN-NNA) – French Foreign Minister, Jean-Yves Le Drian, arrived in Beirut yesterday evening , for a two-day official visit to Lebanon.
Le Drian is expected to meet Lebanese President, Michel Aoun, Prime Minister, Hassan Diab and Parliament Speaker, Nabih Berri, to discuss the latest developments in the reforms that Lebanon has to implement, to unlock international support.
The French minister will also hold a joint press conference with his Lebanese counterpart.
Lebanon is going through the toughest economic deterioration in its history, while the international community is pushing for structural reforms in Lebanon, that needs necessary funds to activate its economic sectors.– NNN-NNA
