SANTIAGO, July 12 (NNN-PRENSA LATINA) – Chile reported the number of COVID-19 cases in the country rose to 312,029, with 6,881 deaths.
According to the Ministry of Health, 2,755 new cases and 100 more deaths from the virus were registered in the past 24 hours.
The ministry also reported that there are currently 24,034 active cases of COVID-19, and that 281,114 people have recovered from the disease.
The ministry announced that 18,268 tests for COVID-19 were administered in the past 24 hours, for a total of 1,273,627 tests administered, since testing first began in the country in Mar.
Chile remains under a state of emergency and curfew, as the government continues to try to slow the spread of the virus.– NNN-PRENSA LATINA
