ISLAMABAD, July 4 (NNN-APP) – China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), is the guarantee to a prosperous future of Pakistan, and all segments of society will benefit from it, Pakistani Prime Minister, Imran Khan said on Friday.
Chairing a meeting, attended by senior ministers and chairman of CPEC, to review progress of CPEC projects, the prime minister called the initiative the “best project for the socioeconomic development of Pakistan,” the Prime Minister Office said, in a statement here.
He also reiterated the resolve to complete the “manifestation of Pakistan-China friendship and give its benefits to every Pakistani.”
The prime minister also praised the progress of CPEC Authority he formed last year, to ensure speedy completion of CPEC projects across the country and directed to further enhance its efficiency.
The prime minister was briefed about the progress and status of the ongoing projects under the bilateral initiative.– NNN-APP
