Singapore Reports 463 New COVID-19 Cases

SINGAPORE, June 13 (NNN-CNA) – Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH), reported 463 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, bringing the total confirmed cases in the country to 39,850.

Of the new cases, 18 cases are in the community, while 445 cases are Work Permit holders, residing in dormitories, including in factory-converted dormitories,

Of the new cases, 98 percent are linked to known clusters, while the rest are pending contact tracing.

Another 754 cases have been discharged from hospitals or community isolation facilities. In all, 28,040 have fully recovered from the infection and have been discharged from hospitals or community care facilities.

There are currently 239 confirmed cases, who are still in hospital. Of these, most are stable or improving, and two are in critical condition in intensive care unit. There are 11,546 isolated and cared for at community facilities. These are those who have mild symptoms, or are clinically well but still test positive for COVID-19.

A total of 25 have passed away from complications.– NNN-CNA
