Four Dead, Six Injured In Multi-Vehicles Crash In Northern Philippines

MANILA, June 8 (NNN-PNA) – Four people were killed and six others injured, in a multi-vehicle accident in Benguet province, in the northern Philippines, before dawn today, local police said.

Police said, the crash occurred at about 4.00 a.m. along a highway in a village near Tuba town, and directly involved three trucks.

According to the police, the driver of a speeding garbage truck lost control and rear-ended a dump truck. The impact sent the dump truck to swerve to the opposite lane and collided head-on with an oncoming trailer truck, police added.

Police said, the four who died at the scene were all male. Those injured were taken to a hospital for treatment, they added.

However, the police did not provide details of those who were killed and injured in the accident.– NNN-PNA
