MANAMA, Bahrain, Feb 8 (NNN-BNA) – Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities’ (BACA’s) President, Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al-Khalifa, today received a delegation led by the Minister of Telecommunications and Transportation, Kamel bin Ahmed Mohammed and reviewed urban and cultural projects in Manama.
She stressed the importance of preserving urban fabric of towns across Bahrain, commending constructed cooperation with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Transportation.
The coordination meeting focused on the ongoing renovation of the Post building (former customs premises), in cooperation with the Ministry of Telecommunications and Transportation.
She said that the iconic building would be revamped and turned into an urban and cultural milestone in Bahrain.
The Minister of Telecommunications and Transportation expressed thanks to the BACA President, stressing cooperation on all levels to promote future cultural projects.– NNN-BNA
